Online Missouri Personal Finance Challenge
This contest will be of special interest to anyone teaching the new, required course in personal finance but is open to all who touch on this subject, whether in social studies, business, or family and consumer science classes. Teachers sponsor teams of four high school students who compete in an online quiz. All members of the top twenty teams compete in the Regional competitions at four sites around the State. The University of Missouri St. Louis Center for Entrepreneurship and Economic Education hosts the eastern regional competition on April 14, 2010. Students compete for a school trophy, prizes, savings bonds and a chance for the state title.
