
Clark J. Hickman is Associate Dean for Continuing Education and Associate Research Professor of Educational Psychology, Research and Evaluation in the College of Education.
He earned his doctorate in educational psychology and adult education in 1993. His teaching area is research methods, and his research area is teacher efficacy and program evaluation in distance education. He is a 2002 alum of the UM President’s Leadership Institute and a co-recipient of a 2001 Award for Excellence for a Continuing Education initiative by the University Continuing Education Association. In addition to his teaching and administrative duties, he is a manuscript reviewer for two international journals and, in 2007-2008, led a national committee on distance education. He is also a Commission on the UCEA Learning, Instruction and Technology Commission, running through 2011.
